Christopher P. Farrell, D.O.

Lancaster Gastroenterology, Inc. (LGI) recently welcomed Christopher Farrell, D.O. to its growing team of physicians. The addition of Dr. Farrell brings LGI's physician total trusted care providers to seventeen, including a new female physician.

Dr. Farrell is a cum laude graduate and received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Scranton. He earned his degree of Doctor of Osteopathy at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received the Avallone Memorial Scholarship and the Measey Foundation Scholarship and also graduated in the top five percent of his class.

He completed both his internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA. During his time at Lankenau, he received top honors as recipient of the Most Valuable Team Player and the Most Valuable Teaching Resident. Dr. Farrell is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Farrell authored multiple science and clinical research articles and made numerous presentations at national and international meetings. He is also active in many professional organizations including the World Journal of Critical Care Med-Editorial Board, American College of Gastroenterology and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.

Dr. Farrell's volunteer experience includes the ALS Organization, Habitat for Humanity and tutoring at the University of Scranton.
